The Herencia
I am new to exercise, can I join?
Absolutely. Our small class setting ensures you will be looked after.

We also work with different progression levels that allow you to choose how you want to move your body based on your fitness level and how you're feeling that day. Anything can happen when you exercise and it's natural to feel out of place when you can't figure out how a machine works or aren't sure if you're doing an exercise correctly.

At Be., we never judge. We all started somewhere and want to make sure your first step is as comfortable and enjoyable as it can be. If you're self-conscious, stumble, drop a weight, or do something else that makes you want to cringe, don't fret. We're here to support you.
I am under 18 years old, can I join?

Definitely. We do ask that your parent or guardian accompany you to the session, however they do not need to participate in the session themselves. We also ask that we have an initial, free consultation to ensure we can take the best care of you in class.

Booking and class information

You can book classes through the Mindbody app or web portal up to 3 days in advance. Bookings will open 72 hours before the class time. We strongly recommend booking in advance so you don’t miss out. Payments can be made either through the app, website or in studio.

How do I cancel a group class booking?

Please cancel your booked session at least 6 hours before the start to allow someone else to take your spot. You can cancel your bookings via the app and web portal.

Late cancellations or no-shows will result in your class credit being deducted.

Subscription members will have a $10 no-show charge added to their account. Our class numbers are small, so please cancel early if you can not make it.

When should I arrive to class?
If it is your first class, you must be checked in at least 15 minutes before the start of the class to allow adequate time for our trainers to brief you and discuss any important medical history information. For safety reasons, if it is your first class, no entry will be allowed after class has commenced.

If you are a regular, please make sure you have checked in to class at least 5 minutes before the start of the class, as any spots that are left unchecked as class starts will be allocated to the walk-in waitlist. You may still join the class only if there is a vacant spot, up to 5 minutes after class starts. We understand life happens, however if you arrive more than 5 minutes after the start of class unfortunately you will not be able to participate. This is both for your safety and to minimise disruption to the class.
What should I bring?
Bring along a water bottle and if you’d like a complimentary tea or coffee after class, bring along your favourite reusable mug!

We provide sweat towels for your convenience, however if you would prefer to bring your own, please feel free to.
What can I expect?
All of our classes are 50 minutes in duration and include a proper warm-up to prepare your body for the workout and a dedicated stretching period at the end to improve flexibility.

After your session

My muscles are sore after the session, what can I do?
When starting a new exercise program or changing the type or intensity of your exercise, it is completely normal to experience some discomfort in your muscles in the couple of days after. Don’t be alarmed, this is normal and part of the adaptation process. We recommend drinking lots of water and keep those muscles moving.

You can try:
  • Gentle stretching
  • Massage
  • Icing
If you experience sharp pain, excessive swelling or the pain become unbearable, then please seek medical advice.
Can I continue to exercise with sore muscles?
Definitely. While it may be a bit uncomfortable to start with, the soreness should reduce once your muscles are warmed up. We recommend dialing back the exercises targeting your sorest muscles and instead focus on exercises targeting less affected areas. Speak to your trainers, they can help you on this.
I loved the session! Can I bring a friend?
We would love to welcome your friend! To gift your friend a free group class, please drop us an email with their details.
